When Stephen Macomber, a hard-bodied, easy-on-the-eyes, gay house cleaner, discovers the corpse of a client splattered on the cliffs below her oceanfront home, he hardly expects to be named a suspect. Joining forces with his sixty-year-old widowed friend, a modern day Miss Marple, and his lover, they initiate their own investigation. Before the shocking truth is unearthed, the trio realizes too late that their lives are in peril from the village's most respected citizens, powerful people with dangerous alliances and no intention of being brought to justice.
About Nancy Bruett
Born in New Jersey, Nancy Jelliffe Bruett has spent her adult life in seaside Massachusetts. She is married to her husband of thirty two years and is fortunate to live in the same town as her grown children. Luckily, her eclectic friends and family are generous with their food for stomach and thought.
